Fashion Meets Compassion
In a world where fashion meets compassion, Haddow Group proudly stands as a beacon of hope and support for those affected by breast cancer. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so we join hands with Cancer Research UK in our relentless pursuit to offer comfort and confidence through our range of mastectomy/post-surgery bras and stoma belts. A staggering 55,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. That is why we have made it our mission to design fashionable clothing that empowers individuals on their journey to recovery. At Haddow Group, we firmly believe regaining your confidence and feeling good about yourself is integral to your recovery from breast cancer surgery.
The Collaborative Effort with Cancer Research UK
At Haddow Group, we believe in the power of collaboration. It is why we are proud to have worked closely with Cancer Research UK to develop our own mastectomy/post-surgery bras. This collaboration aims to significantly impact the lives of those facing the challenges of breast cancer and put a smile on their faces by offering a range of stylish and comfortable bras.
Comfort Meets Sustainability
Comfort is an essential feature of any post-surgery clothing. That is why our mastectomy/post-surgery bras feature a brushed-back soft finish on the hook and eye fastening, crafted from sustainably sourced Bamboo-rich fabric. We chose that material because it is breathable, cool, and incredibly comfortable. To further enhance the comfort of our post-surgery bra, we use seamless knitting machines to prevent any irritation caused by the seams of the garment.
Tailored Support for All
We are aware every patient’s journey through breast cancer is unique. That is why we designed our post-surgery bras to be front-fastening, featuring front-adjustable swan hooks on the straps. These features mean the bra is very comfortable and provides maximum support to the wearer. The bras also include openings inside to accommodate prosthetics, so they are suitable for those who have undergone lumpectomies, lymph node removal, or breast reconstruction.
Fashion Meets Functionality
Our commitment to fashion has no limits. We believe there is something out there for everyone. It is the reason we also offer post-surgery swimwear designed with the customer in mind. These swimwear options provide full coverage to conceal any scarring and are equipped with extra pockets inside the garment that allow individuals to insert their prosthetics.
Expanding the Horizon: Stoma Belts and Stoma Swimwear
Our mission to make individuals feel heard and comfortable has inspired us to expand our range to include post-surgery care clothing such as stoma belts and stoma swimwear. Keeping in mind our goal to bring innovative clothing solutions to the market that enhance the quality of life for those in need.
Supporting the Cause: Pink Bra Edition
To honour Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Cancer Research UK will launch a limited-edition pink version of our mastectomy/post-surgery bra. This limited-edition item showcases the beauty of solidarity but also contributes to the ongoing fight against breast cancer. You can find this unique offering on their website.
A Gentle Reminder
As we embark on this journey together, we like to remind everyone of the importance of regular self-examination. Early detection saves lives, and we encourage you to perform self-checks regularly.
